Sept 27 - Curious about Critters Insect Tour


(The Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve is beautiful 28 acre wildlife sanctuary just a mile or two outside the city limits, a block away from Medlock Elementary School. It's a nice, quiet place for a walk or short run. For birdwatchers, over 150 kinds of birds have been spotted there.)

Are you curious about the critters that lurk among the grass and trees?
Join entomologist Dr. Fred Sherberger for some catch and release critter collecting at the Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve. Come search for insects and spiders that inhabit this beautiful wetland area. Bring a clean jar, with a lid, to show your finds to everyone! Please include the number of people in your group as space is limited. Cost is $3 per person and includes light refreshments.
