Earth Day at Oakhurst - Volunteers Needed for Giant Puppet Parade

The Annual Earth Day at Oakhurst is Saturday, April 18th, from 10am to 2pm, at Harmoney Park, the intersection of East Lake Dr. and Oakview Rd. The event will feature music by the Morgan Rowe Band from 11 am to 2pm, and a Giant Puppet Parade, featuring the Seed and Feed Marching Abominables at 12:30pm (Parade line up begins at Oakhurst Presbyterian Church).

Join us for animal/educational activities, crafts and earth friendly displays as we celebrate the 38th anniversary of Earth Day.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Earth Day Committee will hold three workshops to build the large puppets. All ages are invited to attend. Bring your creative ideas and energy.
Location: Oakhurst Community Garden
Dates: March 14, March 28 and April 4

Time: 10-12 noon
