Blaze Sports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advances the lives of youth and adults with physical disability through sport and healthy lifestyles. BlazeSports provides sports training, competitions, summer camps and other sports and recreational opportunities for youth and adults with spinal cord injury, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, muscular dystrophy, amputation, visual impairment or blindness as well as other physical disabilities.

BlazeSports America is please to host a webinar/conference call on developing sports opportunities for individuals with cerebral palsy and the related conditions of traumatic head injuries and stroke survivors. BlazeSports America an the Paralympic Division of the US Olympic Committee has placed a high priority on the recruitment and development of emerging and elite athletes with cerebral palsy and related conditions. Attendees will be introduced to the classification system used in CP Sports and will learn about the Paralympic sports for which athletes with cerebral palsy are eligible. Opportunities or local and regional competitions will also be discussed. Our guest speaker will be: Jerry McCole, Assist Director of Education and Training for BlazeSports America. Mr. McCole has more than 25 years of experience developing and implementing sports for athletes with cerebral palsy, head injuries and stroke survivors from the grassroots level to Paralympic competition. We are looking forward to this webinar/conference call and the chance to share this information with you and your programs.
